Our little Santa girl...

This is an outfit that my mom got when Peter was a baby. 27 years later, his little girl is wearing it! You have to admit it is darn cute.

Our kids...

I'm still here...

It's been awhile since I've posted so I thought I'd do an update. We had a very nice Thanksgiving with Jason's side of the family. We went out to Sacred Heart, MN and had a huge feast of food at his grandparents' house. It was great! The guys played some basketball and my husband has a blackeye to show for it. Us gals stayed in where it was warm and gabbed. It was nice as I have only met a couple of his cousins and one aunt a few times so it was nice to sit and get to know them better.

Not too much else is going on. We are hosting Christmas for Jason's immediate family at our house this year so that should be fun. I love to entertain. I've set up all my decorations but we're waiting to get our tree til next weekend. Jason is insisting on a real one. I've always had a fake one so we're going to try the real one this year. My brothers, Jessi, Jason, Karli and I are going to go to the Macy's display next weekend. It's the nutcracker this year. It will be a fun day with my siblings and niece but we'll miss Andrea. Karli is growing so fast so if you don't see her for a few weeks, she is so different! It will be a lot of fun to share in her first Christmas.

We put new counter tops in our Kitchen a few weeks ago. They look great. They really complete the room. Still no lookers on our house. I think we may try to sell it ourselves come spring.

Well, I think that covers most of it.

Ciao!

My Niece...

Karli, Karoline Lily, born August 5th, 6lbs 13oz.

An update...

Jason and I have been married for a whopping 60 days now. I think I have my name changed on everything but my Driver's license has not arrived yet. I haven't signed my name wrong yet! Things are going well however we have had a few bumps in the road. On August 2nd, we had to put Guinness to sleep. He came down with something and just dwindled away. We tried a few things but nothing helped and he just had no strength left. There is a vet office about 4 blocks from our house so we just went there because it was close. They were amazing. I am so pleased with the treatment Guinness recieved there. They truly have a passion for animals there. Our vet is about 6'5" and he got down and talked to Guinness like I talk to him. It was great. So after about a week or so of Oscar driving us nuts because he was lonely, we adopted Izzie from the humane society. It took about a week, week and a half, but Oscar and Izzie are the best of friends now. Izzie loves to play with Oscar's tail. Oscar gets a disgusted look on his face but continues to wag his tail and love every minute of it. They have recently started wrestling but Oscar weighs in at about 12 1/2 lbs and Izzie at 2. Oscar is very gentle with her though.

I became an Aunt on August 5th. Karoline Lily (Karli for short) was born. She weighed 6lbs 13 oz. She is such a sweet baby. I just love her. I have to say she is just beautiful. Maybe I'm slightly biased but she really is. I'll post a few pictures of Karli and also of my kitties.

Well I think that is all for now. Hope everyone is doing well.

Ciao!

You may kiss the Bride...

Mrs. Kingstrom

The wedding was wonderful. It was a gorgeous day. I couldn't have asked for a better day. Everything was just perfect. (at least the few things that weren't are forgetable!) I have never smiled so much in my life. I just couldn't stop. I think Jason would agree that he couldn't stop smiling either. I fell in love with him all over that day and in a much more intense way. It's amazing how you can think you love someone so very much and then the wedding happens and that love grows so much more in that day. I hope that Andrea's toast (which was beautiful) will be true for us that we will look back, many years from now, that our love will have continued to grow so that we will look back at our wedding day as the day we loved each other the least! I can't put into words how happy I am and how loved I feel. Thank you to all of you who joined us and for those of you that couldn't make it who kept us in your prayers.

Love,
Angelina
